I wrote a book. Am not entirely sure what to think about that.

I AM sure what to think of the totally unrelated book which showed up in my head approximately 18 hours after finishing the first one, and that is ARGH WHY WON'T THESE IMAGINARY PEOPLE LEAVE ME ALONE?? (The imaginary people are bad enough. The imaginary flower is something else again.)

Hi!!! What KIND of book? (Books?)

Single book that is muttering in the back of my head about a sequel because there are MORE PEOPLE that I haven't written about yet. :) It's, um, sorta post-apocalyptic YA low fantasy with 1) shapeshifters and 2) no stinkin' love triangle because I hate that particular trope. I am looking around for an editor and will probably indie publish, but I'd love to toss you a link if you want to read.

(The Kid demanded that she be mentioned in the afterword that I had no plans to write. "Fine. *ahem* 'They say to write what you want to read. So I did. My daughter wants to be in the afterword. So she is.'")

Oh god she's a walking talking human being. I remember when she was just a grub. How time flies!

Yeah, it kind of terrifies me occasionally. :) But she's grown into really good company, and lately she's been raiding my book supply, which is REALLY COOL except when I can't find them again. (No Bujold until 13. I refuse.)
